Our mission for St Paul Youth is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We carry out our mission by building a christian community where non-religious and nominally religous students and their families are becoming deeply committed christians. We are equipping our youth with applicable christian education so that they can effectivly go into their homes, schools, and business and share the good news!
Our motto is:
LOVE GOD.....LOVE PEOPLE
Our youth are learning that when we love God we are able to allow God to love others through us.
We meet weekly on:
Sundays from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm for lessons and games
Durning Sunday gatherings we have a blast as we hear messages from the youth director as well as other adult and youth leaders throughout the year. We also use this time to particpate in mission projects as well as fun activites geared specifcally for youth.
Wednesday from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm which includes a meal for $3 served at 5:30. We contiune our time together at 6:00 with a creative message geared specifically for youth in grades 7-12. During each of our gatherings youth have the opportunity to grow personally, spritiually as well as a group building. It is essential that we learn to enteract and connect with one another in order to be more effective as a christian community.
Sr high Sunday school and jr high Sunday school at 10 am Sundays.
In the summer we have a number of events that we partipate in as a group. Several of the activites we particpated in last year were: indoor rock climbing, water park in OKC, serving at the gospel rescue mission, floating the Illinois river, bowling, movie night, and much more. We also attend MuMac camp at beautiful camp Egan and a mission trip to Guymon, Ok.
Examples of fun events that we particpate in throughout the year include ice skating, movie nights, lock in at Incrediable Pizza, District Youth Rally’s and Events, Holiday Parties, paintball, rock climbing, girls night, boys night, and swim parties.
