THE LEARNING TREE

 The Learning Tree Preschool has served families in Muskogee since 1979 as a trusted early childhood program of St. Paul UMC.

We offer a wide range of theme-based, age-appropriate classes in a caring environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually. Our highly qualified staff creates a warm family atmosphere with daily emphasis on our motto: sharing, caring, and learning together.

Local teachers and schools have praised our program for more than forty years for preparing children well for kindergarten and beyond.

 Your child’s day at The Learning Tree Preschool may include:

• Learning Centers – Hands-on activities that build skills in shapes, colors, numbers, and language.
• Art – Creative projects using a variety of materials to spark imagination.
• Free Choice Activities – Dramatic play, books, home living, and games that support social skills and motor development.
• Story and Group Time – Listening to stories, singing, and learning together in a group.
• Snack Time – Time for conversation, responsibility, and practicing good habits.
• Music – Songs, finger plays, and movement activities that reinforce learning and build joy.

Our mission is to nurture children into lifelong learners and followers of Jesus through discovery, play, and purposeful growth. We offer a curriculum that blends teacher-led activities and child-led play, suited to each child’s age and ability. Activities support spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and creative development. We believe the program should fit the child, not the other way around.
